As a founder of a start-up that has been supported by the Academic Health and Science Network (AHSN), Doc Abode’s CEO Dr Taz Aldawoud was asked to present at this week’s Bridging the Gap 2 event, hosted by the Yorkshire and Humber AHSN.
Bridging the Gap 2 was aimed at health technology innovators and companies who are interested in accessing the health and care marketplace and it was felt that many could learn from the experiences of Doc Abode.
Commercial Directors from across The AHSN Network were in attendance providing a range of talks, workshops, one to one advice sessions and networking opportunities.
At the event, delegates were able to:
- get advice about how to make engagements with the NHS sharper and more cost effective;
- understand how decisions are made in the NHS, who makes the decisions and how to get their attention;
- provide opportunities to test and develop the value proposition of products, budget impact model and your approach to evaluation and case study development and
- find out more about local NHS priorities and approaches
