In response to the current unprecedented challenges around home visiting, we have adapted Doc Abode so that clinicians can now see which home visits are COVID-19 related, and also where they can access crucial PPE. With the urgent requirement of remote triage for so many, the Doc Abode platform now also supports secure recorded telephony and video consultations through a partnership with cloud communications provider Sesui.
Initially developed for out-of-hours services, we are now providing vital support to the COVID-19 response, by working in cross-organisational collaborations to ensure the roll out of 24/7 operations. Doc Abode is also rapidly expanding into several new regions including Doncaster, Morecambe Bay and Greater Manchester.
We have also formed a ground-breaking collaboration with Social Enterprise Bevan Healthcare and remote monitoring solutions provider Docobo to deliver healthcare services to those affected by COVID-19 who are homeless, or in unstable accommodation, across Bradford, Leeds and Hull. The Strategy Unit, specialists in health and care analysis (hosted by NHS Midlands and Lancashire CSU) and involved in a number of projects exploring and supporting the response to COVID-19, will be providing an independent rapid cycle evaluation.
We really want Doc Abode to help and support patients at this time. If you’re a healthcare provider interested in implementing Doc Abode, please get in touch at info@docabode.com
